A little bit about the Client
Beauty Clinic Bingham is a make-up and beauty treatment brand in Nottingham. The business was started up by Jane Duffy, an experienced beautician who qualified to carry out electrolysis hair removal treatments in 1970, clients travel far and wide to benefit from her electrolysis expertise and is one of the UK-based specialists in the field! Helen joined Beauty Clinic in Bingham in 2015 and is a qualified and insured beauty therapist by the British Association of Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology. Due to their variety of services they provide, we wanted to create an up-market, fantastically designed responsive website which really highlighted them and allowed them to stand out against their competitors whilst showcasing their services, ethics and values.
So, why the need for a new website?
Because beauty is a huge, booming market – especially with this generation of selfie-enthusiasts, bloggers and influencers! The need to stand out against the sea of competitors in unbelievably important. Beauty Clinic Bingham needed to let potential consumers know they’re local, affordable and most importantly skilled in what they do.
Their old website hadn’t been updated in a long time, so not only did the website need a face-lift, it was generic and didn’t fully show the world what they’re about. With a minimum listing of services and use of generic stock photos, customers couldn’t see their skill and the full range of services. In this day and age, it’s so important because customers will definitely be checking you out first before booking. That’s why it was so important to emphasise what they could really do, and how their services would ultimately benefit the customer!
