During 2018, Creative Asset created an outstanding new website for Johnnie Jackson Football Academy. Not only does the new website capture the fun personality of their brand, but ultimately enhances user experience due to its quick loading speed, mobile responsibeness and efficient, integrated booking system
Johnnie Jackson Football Academy is a football club which focuses on providing top-notch experiences and activities for 5-12-year-olds during the school holidays. The club was co-started by Charlton Athletic Captain Johnnie Jackson and Professional Footballer Mark Hughes. Mark contacted us to transform their old website which hadn’t been updated into one which was modern, mobile-friendly with additional functionality so parents and carers could book their children’s places online with ease.
During the discovery period, we found that the old website didn’t have as much functionality as was needed to keep up with the changing nature of website design and technology. Therefore, it was important that we created an innovative booking system which could be viewed on both desktop and mobile so that parents whether on the go, or at home could easily book for the next football camp. We worked closely with Mark to ensure that his website was aesthetically-pleasing but also highlighted and emphasised the character and branding of Johnnie Jackson Football Academy.

During the past two months, we worked closely and liased with Mark to produce a website which really highlighted their brand and values. As it is a website aimed at two different audiences, both parents and their children. We worked hard to maintain a tone which both target customers would appreciate and understand to ensure an interactive and smooth experience from desktop, to tablet and especially to mobile phones.
With mobile-phone browsing and usage sky high with more people on-the-go, it was imperative that the website looked just as good on mobile-mode as the desktop view. It’s was crucial to us to ensure that the design was scaled down to fit the width of different devices without losing the quality, functionality or ease of usability.
To provide the Academy’s customers with an effortless buying system, Creative Asset created a booking system which added functionality to the website, but also made it easier for the Academy to have all its information in one place, rather than parents and carers asking for information over various other social networking platforms.
